When do we speak of magnetic induction?
Magnetic induction, also called flux density, is the number of lines of magnetism in each square centimeter of pole area.
The total number of magnetic field lines passing through each 1 cm x 1 cm of pole area is called magnetic flux density (also called magnetic induction). Flux density is measured in gauss or tesla (10,000 gauss = 1 tesla).
