Induction

When do we speak of magnetic induction?

Magnetic induction, also called flux density, is the number of lines of magnetism in each square centimeter of pole area.
The total number of magnetic field lines that penetrate each 1cm x 1cm pole face is called the magnetic flux density (also known as magnetic induction). The flux density is measured in Gauss or Tesla (10,000 Gauss = 1 Tesla).
